Lecturer in Chinese at Fitchburg State University



Fitchburg State University, Humanities Department invites applications for a lecturer in Chinese language and culture to teach two Mandarin language courses (one introductory, and second semester level) starting January 18th, 2012.

Applicants should have native or near-native fluency in Mandarin Chinese and experience teaching Chinese within a classroom setting. A candidate possessing the ability to incorporate new technologies into language teaching is highly desirable. Pending student demand and department resources, opportunity to teach similar courses in subsequent semesters may apply. Candidates must possess a Master’s degree; PhD. or ABD is preferable.
