Drill Instructor/Teaching Assistant in Chinese at Harvard


The Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations at Harvard University anticipates one or more openings for a full-time Drill Instructor/Teaching Assistant in Chinese beginning August 1, 2012 through July 31, 2013. Drill instructors assist course heads in Chinese language classes, assist in preparation of teaching materials, and teach individual drill sections. Candidates must have native or near-native fluency in Chinese. A bachelor's degree is required; teaching experience in Chinese at the college level is strongly desired; computer literacy is required. 

Interested candidates should submit a letter of application, a curriculum vitae, and the names and contact information of three references (who will be invited to upload letters of recommendation) to Candidates should also send a 20-minute DVD of the applicant teaching to:
