Adjunct Instructor – Chinese Language


The Department of Modern and Classical Languages at the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John’s University
invites applications for a one-year, part-time position as adjunct
instructor of Mandarin Chinese, beginning August 2010. The successful
candidate will teach one course on campus fall 2010 and one course
spring 2011 in our three-semester Chinese language proficiency series.
Master’s degree, and native or near native fluency in Chinese and
English, as well as teaching experience and a commitment to
undergraduate teaching required. A current and valid work permit is required at the time of application.

St. John’s University, a liberal arts college for men, and the College
of St. Benedict, a liberal arts college for women, are located just
outside St. Cloud and 70 miles from Minneapolis.  Both are Catholic
Colleges in the Benedictine tradition and emphasize teaching excellence.
