LECTURER OF CHINESE LANGUAGE at the University of Vermont



The Department of Asian Languages and Literatures at the University of Vermont invites applications for a full-time position as a lecturer in Chinese language to begin in the fall 2016. Applicants must have an M.A. or higher degree in Chinese language pedagogy or relevant areas, native or near-native fluency in both Chinese and English, and extensive experience in teaching Chinese to English-speaking students at the college level. Responsibilities include teaching Chinese language at all levels and assisting in Chinese language and cultural activities. The University is interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their teaching, research, and/or service.
