Announcement of Visiting Assistant Professorship
August 25, 2008 - May 24, 2009

The Department of East Asian Languages and Literature seeks a full-time
non-tenure track instructor in Chinese language for the 2008-09 academic
year.  Applicants for the position must have a Ph.D., or expect to have
the Ph.D. by the beginning of this appointment, August 25, 2008, in Chinese
linguistics, language pedagogy or a related field, native or near-native
fluency in Chinese and experience in language teaching.  Duties of the
position involve teaching four courses, including two-semester sequence
language courses, and supervision of Teaching Assistants.

Salary is competitive.
