Chinese Lab Instructor

Macalester College invites applications for a Native Speaker/Chinese
Lab Instructor for the 2008-09 academic year.  Candidates must have
native or near-native fluency in Chinese.  A Bachelor's degree or
equivalent is required; teaching experience in Chinese at the college
level is strongly desired.

Responsibilities include: class preparation, teaching Chinese drill
sessions (about eight hours per week) in cooperation with other faculty
members, and other work in support of the Chinese language program.
This will include assistance with cultural programming.   The lab
instructor will receive a stipend of $9,500.
