Full-time Lecturer in Chinese

The Department of Languages, Philosophy, & Speech
Communication at Utah State University invites applications for a
full-time lecturer in Chinese. Candidates should have a Masters in
Chinese language/culture or second language acquisition (Doctorate
preferred) completed by August 10, 2008. Other qualifications include:
Near-native or native proficiency in both Chinese and English; ability
and willingness to teach all levels of Chinese language and course in
culture, translation or professional focused courses, such as Business
Chinese; experience and interest in teaching in a distance education
environment. Teaching load is typically three regular courses a
