The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures, University of Notre
Dame, invites applications for an instructor (assistant special professional
faculty) of Chinese to begin August 2009.

The successful candidate must hold at least an MA in pedagogy,
linguistics,second language acquisition, or related fields.  He/she
must also have
university-level experience teaching Chinese using communicative,
proficiency-based methodology, and have native or near-native fluency
